Roof Mount Solar Hot Water System
Our Roof mount systems use a 300L marine grade stainless steel SUS316L thermosiphon tank and 2 flat solar collectors. The collectors placed on your roof absorb the sun's rays and transfer the heat from the sunrays directly to your household water. This type of system has been tried and tested over many years, it is very reliable and does not require a pump.
The photo above is a German Tech Thermosiphon system, FPTS300-2P.
It has the hot water tank integrated with the solar collectors. The collectors have copper tubes inside in which water circulates, cold water then becoming hot water before returning to the insulated storage tank.
